There are two points I wish to make in relation to the emotion of anger. One is the massive disappointment that this disease is about to enter into your life. This was not the life you bargained for, robbed of your retirement maybe and fear of what may or may not lie ahead in your own life. The root cause is that you have been had over. It’s soul destroying, exhausting and extremely upsetting and it takes time to come to terms with.
The second point.
You will have absolutely no control over the deterioration of the human body when your loved one has been diagnosed with the onset of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. An insight to what you can do throughout this journey is acquiring the ability to be able to think quickly on your feet, have a few cards up your sleeve, think ahead and apply yourself when appropriate.
